A series of 2D texture and 3D Model replacement mods I made for the game Guilty Gear Strive. All of these mods are publicly available on Gamebanana by clicking this text!
All of the work you see here was made in Photoshop, Blender, and Unreal Engine 4.25. For the three texture replacements, I remade character textures in Photoshop for the Base, Sss, and Decal materials, which control lit and unlit textures, as well as high-res decals like written text and symbols found on the models. See below for examples!
For the model replacement mod, I also had to rig, weight paint, and vertex paint imported models, as well as create new ILM textures to better match in-game materials. The ILM and vertex painting control subtler parts of the model, such as permanently shaded polygons, shading depth according to distance from the camera, and outline thickness according to the values of Red, Green, and Blue channels.
